Here are some of the core beliefs of our ministry:
• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; Deu. 28:58)
• We believe in the One True God, The Sovereign, eternal Creator of all that exists, both seen and unseen. God is eternally existent in three persons, yet one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; I Cor. 8:4; I Tim. 2:5; Gen. 11:7; Is. 48:16; John 15:26)
• We believe In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (Rom. 5:9; Rom. 5:17-19; 2 Cor. 5:18,19; I Tim. 3:16)
• We believe in the one true gospel that must be preached. The mystery hidden from the beginning of the world that was supernaturally revealed to the Apostle Paul by God Himself and not by man. That Christ is the Son of God, and that He died on a cross, was buried, and rose again. This is the power of God unto salvation – “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Rom 1.16, 10.9, 16.25;1 Cor 15.1-4; Gal 1.12)
• We believe God created mankind in His image. Adam and Eve, the first human beings, chose to rebel against God and go their own way. As a result, all of mankind became separated from God, the image of God in man distorted, he became subject to the power of the devil, and the sinful nature passed on to all their descendants. Because of original sin unregenerate human beings are incapable of pleasing or commending themselves to God. The only remedy for mankind’s pitiful predicament is redemption through faith in Jesus Christ. (Gen 1-3)
• We believe that justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. And when a person exercises this faith in Christ he passes immediately out of spiritual death into spiritual life, and from the old creation into the new, a new nature and “heart” imparted; being justified freely by grace, accepted before the Father according as Christ His Son is accepted, loved as Christ is loved, and through continued faith, having his place and portion with Him eternally sealed. (Rom. 5:9; Gal. 5:4-5; Rom. 5:1; Titus 3:7; Titus 3:5; John 3:3; I Pet. 1:23; I John 3:9)
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and in the baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to an awakened spirit. (Mat. 3:11; Luke 24:49,53; Acts 1:4-8)
• We believe that praying in the Spirit is both crucial and necessary to live a life of victory and in fighting for victory in the lives of others. (Eph 6:18; Jude 20)
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ps 133:1; Eph 4:1-6)
• We believe in the divine healing of the sick and is provided for in Christ’s atonement (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins). (Ps 103:3; Is. 53:4-5; Mat 8:17; James 5:14-16; I Pet. 2:24)
• We believe Christ marked the end of the law (the commandments) and the beginning of grace. We have been made free to serve God in a new way. Not by the letter of the law but by His spirit inside of us. (Eph 2.15-16, Rom 7.6/10.4/8.2/3.21-22, Gal 3)
• We believe the church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God’s offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:22,23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 12:23)
• We believe in the millennial reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. At that time many in the nation of Israel will recognize and accept Him as the Messiah, the Savior who died for them and all mankind. (I Cor. 15:52; I Thes. 4:15-17; 2 Thes. 2:1; Zech. 14:4; I Thes. 4:14; 2 Thes. 1:7-10; Jude 14,15; Rev. 5:10; Rev 19:11; Rev 20:4-6)
• We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. (John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15, Rev. 20:5-6; Mat. 25:46; Luke 18:30; John 10:28; Rom. 6:22; I John 5:11-13; Mat. 25:41-46; Mark 3:29; 2 Thes. 1:8-9; Rev. 20:10-15; Rev. 21:8)
• We believe and look forward to the perfect new heavens and new earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever and ever. (2 Pet 3:13; Rev 21-22)
