FOR THE CABIN

RAFTING (Sat afternoon)

– MUST HAVE SECURE SHOES SUCH AS:
– WATER SHOES
– SANDALS WITH STRAPS

– LIFE JACKET/HELMET PROVIDED
— SOME HELMETS HAVE GOPRO ATTACHMENTS IF YOU’D LIKE TO BRING YOURS, WE HAVE ONE
CAVING (only for designated retreats)

– DIRTY JEANS (YOU WILL GET SCUFFED IF NOT)
– WATER BOTTLE/NALGENE/CAMELBACK OF SOME KIND
– A LIGHT (FLASHLIGHT AND/OR HEADLIGHT)

GETTING THERE:

CABIN: WE WILL BE STAYING IN SUNSET CABIN – see below for image
— once on-site, go past checkin-office and take a right BEFORE SMALL BRIDGE and continue around bend until you are going up hill / Sunset will be on the left / look for FS banner

TIMES: Thurs night – Sun morning (please make every effort to be there as soon as possible Thurs evening and plan to say till at least 10 am on Sun as significant events typically take place at beginning and end of retreat)
Meals: All meals provided on Fri/Sat
****BREAKFAST FRI IS AT 7:30AM IN DINING HALL / SUN MORN BKFST IN CABIN (bring items for Sun morn, some provided)***
Travel Rides: We usually have a multitude of people from different areas driving up including but not limited to
– South Louisiana region (we have bus that holds 28 people available most events which leaves near 8-9am on Thurs morn)
– North Atlanta region
– Augusta (CSRA)
FLIGHTS: If you’re flying in, the retreat center is about 2hrs north of Atlanta airport and 1 hr due East of Chattanooga
